This project is a collaborative exploration of a speculative flower design, created with Fati Moghtada. Together, we imagined a fictional plant that reflects adaptability across different climates and living conditions.
My role focused on shaping the flower’s form and materiality, using colored resin to express variation, subjectivity, and environmental influence. While my collaborator developed the representational aspect, our process was deeply shared, bringing the concept into a tangible form.
At its core, the work is about growth, imagination, and connection—both between environments and between collaborators.
Flowers that grow in lands beyond Earth, each unfolding according to its own cycle. These blossoms inhabit patchwork landscapes. Viewers can select a favorite bloom, share it with loved ones, and bring it into the physical world as a three-dimensional object.
Life Seasons
2022
A living system in motion, unfolding across seasons of existence. Each shift, is a glimpse into an alternate life, a world where creatures move, adapt, and evolve.
Line Walker 2024
A creature of motion and stillness, capable of walking, sleeping, inflating, and laying down, a choreography of bodily states distilled into lines. Through pen plotter drawings, its robotic, line-based existence mirrors the delicate tension between precision and life, translating movement into a visual language.
Twin Inflatable 2022
Two bodies, one form, playful and expansive, a structure of shared existence and minimal movement. Inflatable, tactile, and playground-like, this work imagines a space where connection and similarity converge into a living object.
It is both architectural and intimate, inviting interaction, empathy, and a rethinking of how beings coexist in space.
Translucent Shifter 2022
A fluid creature of translucence, color, and texture, capable of opening, expanding, and transforming. Hairy or smooth, soft or stretching, it embodies the longing for a life constrained by its environment, a being imagined beyond limitation. Its world is one of shifting perception, where form, light, and movement collide to create a life that is both alien and intimately alive.
